Paprika's built in web browser lets you easily search the internet for your favorite recipes and save recipes from many different websites.
The upper toolbar contains a combined address bar and search bar, a reload/stop button, the button, and a menu with Share, to send the page's link to another app, and Open in Browser, to open the page in your default web browser. A thin progress bar underneath shows the page loading.
The lower toolbar displays buttons for standard browser actions and tools for saving recipes. In order from left to right, the buttons are: back, forward, show/hide clipboard tools, edit clipboard recipe, and .
Note
On tablets, the browser uses a wider layout and the clipboard tools are always visible.
Tap the address bar and type a URL to navigate to that page (ex: 101cookbooks.com), or type in a search term to perform a recipe search (ex: beet salad).
The button displays your current bookmarks. From there you can load a bookmark into the browser, edit a bookmark, and add new bookmarks to the list. Bookmarks sync with your other cloud data.
Note
The browser's home page is Paprika's directory of popular recipe sites. You can choose a different home page with the Home Page setting in the Settings panel.
Paprika supports clipping recipes from hundreds of different recipe sites. In order to clip a recipe:
Edit Recipe form. Review the recipe fields, then press to add the recipe to your collection.Note
In the free version of Paprika, downloading is limited by the 100 recipe limit.
In addition to traditional recipe sites, Paprika can save recipes from social media posts, stories, and pages on sites such as TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube. Paprika reads the recipe from the text of the post, including its caption or description, so posts on other sites may work too.
The easiest way is to share the post straight from the app it's in: tap the post's button and choose Paprika 4. Paprika will read the post's text and extract the recipe into structured ingredients and directions, then open the filled-in recipe form for you to review and save — no browsing required.
You can also paste a post's link into the address bar of Paprika's browser and press .
If Paprika wasn't able to clip the recipe for you, or only partially clipped the recipe, you can use the clipboard tools at the bottom of the browser to manually copy/paste the recipe information from any website. Tap the show/hide clipboard tools button in the lower toolbar to reveal the clipboard tools row.
To use the clipboard tools:

You can also open .paprikarecipes files shared from other apps — such as an email attachment or a file in your Downloads folder — and Paprika will offer to import the recipes they contain.
